Default B2500D Red Light

A steady red light comes on when the ignition is turned off. Sometimes it goes off and sometimes back on again. The light is fitted on one of 4 'switches' fitted for possible additional equipment, to the left of the main instrument panel (RHD car), but which are unused and do not switch, but one of them has this red light fitted. The light goes out when the engine glow plug is switched on from the remote control, but then comes on again.Tried to upload photo but it sticks at 90% and will not upload. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
