98 B4000 - Flashing Lights Help
I recently purchased a 1998 Mazda B4000 4x4. Everything seemed fine when I test drove it, but it began having electrical problems after I took it home.
The Check Engine light stays on. When I first start it up, the 4x4 and OD Off lights flicker for a moment then stop. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? I know that the OD Off flickering signals a transmission problem, but is that always the case? It seems to be shifting fine to me. I will get codes tomorrow after work.

I had it scanned, and all it said was that there was a problem with the plugs and wires. I went ahead and changed them tonight then unplugged my battery for a few minutes to reset. No more OD light so far, and it is running/shifting smoothly.
