Hi, not familiar with these trucks, any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to buy this truck but hesitant as I don't want a pandora's box. During the test drive at non-highway speed the 4wd engages on its own, which then you would have to pullover push the switch to get it back to 2wd, drive for 1 minute then jumps to 4wd pull over switch. Any ideas? is this a vacuum operated 4x4 system, is it just a vacuum hose issue or ....? How hard is sourcing parts for a 4X4 would Ranger parts work?, thanks in advance.
