Default 87 b2600 4x4 brakes?

How do you take off the rear hubs?

do you mean -
rear drums or rear axle shaft.

rear drums (may still have the factory mounting bolts installed holding the drum on remove or drill out) should have 2 threaded holes to thread a bolt in and pop it off the axel face or 2 hammers-place one between the studs and hit with the other.

axle shafts -remove the 4 bolts holding the retainer then get a slide hammer to pull the axle out.

thanks for your reply. Yes sir the rear drums, I would like to put new brakes. There is two philps head short screws top and bottom front faceing.

they rust around the hub...should be two threaded holes. you need to drive two bolts with the same thread into them and it will pry the drum away from the hub.
