'86 - '93 B Series Dash Kits
Back once more. I swear this is turning into ground hog day. I am just about finishing up everything and installing the radio for good.
When I started to put together the Metra kit for the Mazda . I noticed it is absolute junk. The plastic its made out of is worse than '00s gm plastic. Its not even flush at all. Does anyone make a kit out of metal or better plastic? Or am I SOL? At this point, Im ready to go down to my local machine shop and have them make something.

I haven't had any issues with them, but I haven't bought one in years now.......they may all be junk now-a-days. May want to go to a car stereo specialist shop (even Best Buy's shop) and see what they use for kits. I am sure there are other companies that make the kits, as there used to be, because I have used different brand kits over the years. Let us know if you find a better brand!
I bought an install kit to replace the Clarion AM radio in my 1988, back in 1994. I've re-used it for stereo upgrades over the years. I remember back then it was a combination Honda-Mazda kit.
Did you contact crutchfield.com ?
Maybe go to a local stereo install business (we have those here in Phoenix).
