I bought this truck a few years ago for a yard/trash truck. It runs ok but not much to look at. Recently the passenger side mirror got taken out by a tree limb.
There is a wiring harness connected to the mirror that was destroyed but I have not found a switch indicating it is an electric adjustable mirror, could the wires be for a heated mirror?
The mirror I bought fits the SE model that I have and it looks correct on the outside but does not have a wiring harness. The SE model is a thicker bulkier mirror rather than the
base model that looks kinda flat and rectangle.
The mirror I bought is a manual adjust but it stops before it goes low enough to get where I need it. In other words I can adjust it so you can see the tree tops
but it hits a hard stop before it goes low enough to see the road behind ya. The driver side mirror which still has the mirror that came on the truck when I bought will adjust full motion,
top, bottom, left and right. Am i missing something? Anyway I could have messed it up when I installed it? Everything went smooth no issues other than no wiring harness.
Any suggestions on getting a full range of adjustability is certainly appreciated.
Thank you and hope everyone has a great week.
