Default 1991 B2600i Left Upper Control Arm Removal

Rebuilding the front suspension and ran into an issue I have not been able to find instructions for nor any info on any forum I have searched. I have the left upper control arm detached but the steering shaft interferes with removing the arm through the opening as I cannot get it over the frame mounted shock bracket to replace the shaft without hitting the steering shaft. I could possibly remove the control arm shaft but prefer not to do this as I am replacing with a new assembly and the high torque could be an issue in such a small access opening.

I know the B-series are old and getting info can be a challenge. I have 2 shop manuals and neither addresses removal of upper control or disconnecting the steering shaft. My question is, has anyone done this before? And does anyone have the procedures for removing the left upper control arm and disconnecting the steering shaft to clear the control arm? Also, does anyone know where I can find the procedures?

Any assistance appreciated.

Cusser---I saw where you had replied at Mazdatrucking.com and appreciate it. However, I could not open your reply. When I tried my computer went crazy and have not been able to resolve that issue. That is why I posted on this forum. Maybe you could re-post on this forum and I will be able to read it.

Thanks

All I know; I did add grease fittings to my 1988 B2200 and grease the upper control arm bushings every few years.
