Default 1984 B2200 fuel relay location

I'm about to purchase a Mazda pickup as a daily driver and "beat around town" in, and the only thing inept about it is the fuel pump is not receving power. I'm thinking it's the feul pump relay...and the previous owner purchased one already but hasn't an inkling where it's located...I haven't a Haynes manual yet, so if able does anyone know offhand the location of this relay?

It'd be greatly appreciated

- Thanks

thanks Hixx, it's much appreciated...I purchased a Haynes manual and this schematic was in small font I thought I's need a magnifying glass. I'm told that it's not a "fuel pump relay" per se, byt rather a "circuit opening relay" which is supposedly located behind the driver side kick panel, but I'll be damned if I can find it. I bought the truck today after the previous owner supplied power to the freshly installed fram mounted fuel pump which in turn filled the carb bowl long enough for me to have the truck run a good five minutes with no hesitation and/or tapping sounds. I trust the seller that it's just an electrical issue to the pump but I cannot find this relay for the life of me. The truck's located a good forty mins from me and so going back and forth is becoming a hassle. I have a new relay part # H270 but I'm not certain that's correct, seems like I may have a later model relay and need to be finding an older one instead of being assured it's a certain style relay that's not on my vehicle.

Thanks again, I'm certain I'll become somewhat of a regular around these parts...I use to love www.thesamba.com/vw when I had my Beetle and now it's on to Mazda...which I'm glad of nonetheless.

Be well

It has been too long since i worked on one. It is called a 3-point relay as stated in the wiring diagram. A circuit opening relay is for a later model. It may well be under the hood. There is an input from the altenator to the relay so it needs an input from it to kick the relay so i would check those connections and trace from there.

thanks again Hixx, I may even just hot wire the pump to the battery with a toggle swith and ground the device and "let'er ride" as they say...I've gotta have wheels regardless of this situation. I do greatly appreciate your response more so than everyone else's silence concerning my plight. Be well, and I'll be seeing you around I'm sure
