[&:] 1998, 626 sedan, transmission has a hard shift during acceleration. Just completed changing the spark plugs. The hard shift was present before changing the plugs but seems harder after changing them. Is this due to timing? Can this be resolved without going to a dealership?

Finally, my dash board lights are going out one by one. Does replacing them require removing the steering wheel as in other makes?

I got on to ask the same thing, it happened today, it appears to stay stuck in 3rd gear, reverse works. It just wont up shift or down shift, seems to be an electrical problem, needle jumps from 0-40-60 its all mest up, its 27degrees, and i might have to ride my motorcycle to work tomorrow if this keeps up, could anyone
please help us. I don't like dealership as much as I can do then I will, but how? My dad told me to bring it to shop to check if the mazda transmission is still ok because he doubt about the transmission problem.
