parking brake adjustment or not?

My parking brake on my 95 626 seems to be quite high (about 7 notches) is there any adjustment to the cable?

There should be an adjustment nut where the cable attaches to the handle in the center console. I tried adjusting mine on a '92 323 and was not able to get it to work.

yup adjust the nuts... just make sure that you do so evenly! or else bad things will happen!
