Did you remove the manifolsupport bracket that attaches the manifold to the block? That and the EGR pipe should be the only things that would lock the manifold in place.

Naw, is that the tube with that bolt that looks like a 22+? its kinda hard to get too, oh and I shouldn't have to undo the left motor mount (if your facing the car) to get the head off?

Yes you will have to remove the motor mount. It attaches to the front of the cylinder head. Are you going to leave the intake and exhaust manifolds in the car or take them out with the head.

I have already removed manifold and I am working on trying to get the intake off, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. All i have is the intake and the motor mounts, thats it. I have pics if that helps? Thanks for the info thus far

I see that you removed the EGR pipe from the exhaust manifold side. Will post pic of the other end of that pipe as well as the bracket the hold the manifold to the block. Marked with an orange x. You will need to remove this bracket or manifold will not budge. Pipe as well. Forgot. Other end of pipe is just to the left of the orange x.

Cool thx homie, you da man!! I'll let you know how everything goes. You know what made this come about? the lady didn't change the oil and te **** clunked up and I called my self doing the right thing......boy was I wrong by cleaning it. I guess oil blocked main pickups and the cam on the exahust side locked up from lack of oil. i learned the hard way.

Cool, thax, I do not think anything happened to the bottem end becuse I know I had the right amount of oil in it. The car just stalled and wouldn't start, but 3 cylinders turned over. The 1 cylinder did not due to the cam being locked up I believe.

I can see the damage to the cam journals for the exhaust cam. Did the cam break? Would not have thought so as I can see the t-belt looks to be intact. You are going to pull the oil pan to remove the sludge that has crammed into the oil pump pickup screen aren't you.
