Here is my new to me project. So far I've not done much but plugs and wires. Taken the radiator off and am currently stripping paint so the brass comes thru, I love brass topped rads.
She's been sitting since 2004. Disconnected the fuel pump and will be dropping the tank to clean it.
So much grim on the windows too. Was sitting underneath trees and growing bushes. Had to chop some to rescue her..

I found new rear window locks so I installed them and they fit good. NOS from a Mazda dealership which shocked me.

So she was parked in 2004 because the sheer pin aka woodruff key. I've aligned the marked, put a new belt on and found a NOS spacer between the Crankshaft and the pulleys.

A few more pics. Opened the hatchback.
Rear seat removed.
Engine bay. New thermostat and filter ready to go in. Not sure if I wanted to do full synthetic oil or old regular oil..

Nwe struts for the hatchback installed.

New upper and lower rad hoses just waiting.

There was a pack rat who chewed threw some wires.
