Default motor mounts

[:-]my mazda 626 2001 seems to jump when i press on the gas my son thinks maybe motor mounts are bad how do i fix this.

You can usually check them by jacking up the engine just a bit, or visual inspecting them. See if the rubber is showing major signs of wear or the metal parts are, or have been touching each other, etc...
Motor mounts are not usually that hard to do, but a floor jack comes in very handy.
