I have a Mazda 323, that has just been fitted with a new clutch, new coil springs, and a new crankshaft, but i have been told that it is needing a new ECU unit. basically the car runs for a certain amount of time but when it heats up it cuts out, so i have decided to get rid of it, if anyone would like it for parts feel free to contact me and we can arrange a price.

No! Don't get rid of it! You can go to the local junkyard (Pull-a-Part) and get one for like $10 - 15 max. I could probably get you one (but I'd charge you for 1 - 2 gallons of gas to cover my trips there and back). LOL

If the ECU is really the problem, it's a pretty easy fix. I can walk you through the swap out.
