mazda 323 astina wiring short
hi, I have a 03 mazda astina 323 and the other day my cluster stopped working
I found a wire all melted and burnt out , but it looks to be an earth wire anyway? so Im wondering if its shorted to voltage somewhere.
However I am looking to pick the brains of you mazda fans, the attached picture is the connecter/block of which the wire is attached to, My question is what is this block? what does it earth? or what does it do? its mounted on the r/h/s of the engine looking at it from the front.
thanks
Billy

Can you take a side picture of it too and another pic that is wider so we can see the harness? I dont think its a ground wire, those are usually grounded right on the engine/chassis/body and not run all over the place. Welcome to the forums!
