Hi All - Great Forum (first time user)

My Girlfriend just purchased a 96 323 Astina. Been driving great for 3 days but last night fuel light was flickering. There is plenty of oil so it's not losing/burning excessive amounts of oil.

Going up a hill there was a loss of power and the car has began makinga ticking noise. As an amatuer diagnosis I am assuming oil pump/loss of oil pressure??

Any suggestions?? Is this a big job?? Any cause for alarm?? Feedback would be greatly appreciated!
