Hey guys/gals, need to replace the headlights on my 323, have the new ones right here and they wont work, the online shop I purchased from on ebay sent me headlights for a sedan and I have a hatchback, I wouldn't imagine they would be different but they are so I am sending the new ones back AND they dont have mine in stock.......yay. The new ones are missing the hole in the headlight housing for the parking light, one of the adjustment screws are not there and the lens shape is slightly different, damn you Mazda for making each model different for the same year Sigh.....back to searching ebay for cheap lights, Rockauto has them for 145 euro ($190USD) but I am not about to drop almost $300 for lights I would rather let the car sit till I get new lights, got these ones here (granted they wont work) for 32 euro each, whats so special about the hatchback headlights that makes them stupid expensive compared to the sedan ones? Ah well back outside to the foggy mess and put my car back together.

 

Was at the junkyard, they had ONE good 323 that wasnt totaled in the front, snagged the headlights for 50 euro AND the cooling pipe I need that is badly rusted AND the heat shield I destroyed when I replaced my cylinder head. All in all was a good trip
