Default fuel or computer?

93 626 V6 5 spd starts and runs at all rpms. Goes fine until it gets to operating temp ie
about 1/2 way on temp gauge. Acts like its starving out and dies. Wait 10 sec. and then runs until it starves out again which takes 30 sec to a minute. This can go on until batt gives out or motor cools off. Hoped it was bad fuel but heet etc didn't really help. what's up?

Default RE: fuel or computer?

Probably the distributor. They kinda suck. The coil is inside the distributor and slowly degrades. The hotter a coil gets the higher its resistance gets so it usually shows up at normal operating temp when it is going bad. Unfortunately it usually damages the converters from too much unburned fuel passing through them so give them a visual inspection. If the main converter is partially clogged or broken up you need a distributor and a converter. Could be something else like the fuel pump but a bad distributor is as common as dirt on those. I highly recommend a factory rebuilt. I never had much luck with aftermarket ones.
