Car dies only after warming up
I have a Mazda 626, 1989. I can drive the car without a problem but when the car warms up, the engine dies (I will notice the tach jerking/jumping). When it is about to die, that tach meter willmove from1500rpm-2000rpm and fade to the end (I think 7000rpm).
The distributor is about 1 year old. I check the battery before and after it starts... and it looks good. I would like to know base on the behavior, is this an electric, fuel or sensor problem? Any input is appreciated. Thank you. |
RE: Car dies only after warming up
have you checked your vaccuum hoses? they may be soft and collapseor have a small hole that opens up when the engine heats up.
