Default Baby Huey can you help out????

Baby Huey can you help me out with this tranny issue?
Lately I've been noticing alot of down shifting in my 98 626 when I'm coming to a stop. When I start out I feel a slight hesitation also, but it still has power going forward. This morning on the freeway I noticed it really didn't shift in to second or third gear because my rpm was higher than normal. I had just got a transmission flush a few weeks ago...does this mean I need a new transmission? I hope not! Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
