My 1999 323f from Belgium has automatic daytime running lights. Every year i was passing the inspection with no problems from them. This year they said that i can't have lights on only on the front, that i need to have the rear lights either on together with front lights or no lights at all. But there is no option to turn off the front lights completely! If i pull the fuse, that removes my nighttime running light (which are the same light, but with rear lights) too. Where can i get proof that these automatic lights are a factory design and i can't do jack about them? They can't fail the tech if i prove that they came from the factory like that. Otherwise i will have to make my own relay, and i seriously do not want to do that.
