Default Am I overheating or overthinking

I have a 1992 Mazda 323 dx and I’m wondering if the gauge position means it’s overheating or if it’s just a weird gauge. The white line is where it will sit after warming up. I know I have a slight leak in my lower radiator hose but it’s completely topped off and I’ve flushed it twice since purchase. Any info on what this specific gauges range would also help me calculate what it’s actually running at. Thank you.

You can’t go by the these type gauges unless you know by way of either installing a temporary manual water temperature gauge or use a hand held digital temperature meter to know exactly what the position represents in real values . Most auto manufacturers use the well known middle pointed potion as normal operation and it is believed that 3/4 represents higher then normal temperatures.
