Air Vent Switch/Lever 93 Mazda 626
Hi,
I have 93 626 with 2000 4 cyl. If I drive let say 60 km/h the air from engine exhaust is entering the cabin, but if I drive slow let say 30-40km/h the air from engine exhaust is not entering the cabin. What might be the problem?
At the dashboard panel, I see there is a switch/lever which is at the top it has sign air vent half blue and at the bottom only just the sign. What I've read from the manual, if it is at up position the fresh air from outside is running into cabin, but if in down position it is closed and just only the air from the A/C that enter into cabin. But when I set it to down position it cannot fully at bottom position.
I tried to open the panel and I notice that maybe the switch is not set at right position.
The switch/lever has some kind of string that attach at bottom, so when it is set at upper position the string become tighten or tracted, but if it is set at lower position the string become loosen, is it right? Or it should be tracted when it is set to lower position/closed?
And if it is at right position I suspected that the external air vent is not really closed when it is at lower/closed position from the lever/switch. Where is the vent located? So I can manually closed the vent.
Sorry if my english is poor...thank you very much for replying this thread...
