Default 97 Mazda 626 no power to fuel pump

My 97 Mazda 626 with a four-cylinder is not getting any power to the fuel pump. The relay is good but no power getting back to the fuel pump itself. I think there is another component in between the relay and the fuel pump, but I can’t figure out what it is. The car will run with starting fluid. All the fuses are good. The relays are good, but I think there’s something cutting off Power to the fuel pump in between the relay and the fuel pump itself. Any help would be great.

Have a look at this manual. It shows the wiring diagrams.

Maybe wiring problem. Can you check that? Maybe a rat chewed on the wire. A rat is eating a lot of my tomatoes this year.

I have the exact same car. Less than 37k on it. I paid $7000 around New Years to get it ultra-serviced by a shop with a great reputation who specialize in Japanese cars. I'd driven it so little, did my own oil changes, didn't know much about the shape it was in. Emissions issue with check engine light forced me to find a shop that would work on it. I like the car, it was my dad's.

Good luck, let us know how this turns out.
