I replaced a head gasket on a 91 626 (had head checked and shaved at machine shop) I replaced the timing belt and since then shortly after starting I have had 1 cam sprocket bolt and 2 alignment pins break. The engine seems to turn without problem so if anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it

 

Check your camshaft bearing bores and camshaft journals for wear and seizing up of the camshaft, see if you can turn it by hand, if not you might need a new head, machine shop might have not cleaned out the oil passages to the camshaft and its not getting any oil either. https://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/maz...t-issue-28517/ Also on an edit since the forums seem to be screwed up on my end the new posts are at the top of the pages instead of the bottom............kinda backwards IMO.
