I just sent my boys 2000 626 in for a transmission. I talked with the guy who is rebuilding it and I mentioned how these Ford tranny's go because they basically overheat with no cooler on the transmission. He said, "what are you talking about ?" ...Now who is right ? Me or him ?
He says they have a cooler already...[>:]

Also, I am getting "jobber" price from a friend at a shop, $1695.00 with a 3 year/36k mile
warranty.....

Any thoughts on both ??
