Default 323 no spark

I work for a local garage and replaced a mass air flow meter on a 2000 323 1.5 on Monday and went 5 miles up the road and then just died and would not start we then recovered it back to the garage to find it has blown 2 main fuses so we now have imobiliser working and fuel pump running but no spark checked all the obvious but to no joy and need help as I'm not a Mazda specialist

sounds like you've either blown the coilpack or the immobiliser is stuck on - but i am no expert either

I would find it strange to blow both coil packs I would of thought it would just blow the first one but saying that I have got a 12v feed and both earths to the pack I'm just wondering if the ecu is receiving cam and crank signals to tell the coils to fire
