323, Full filter
I know how to put one on I have put one on befor when I was in the shop while I was going to my old trade school the only thing is I never took on off.
I know I have to depresserize the full lines, so does that mean just unscrewing the full cap?
If so cool, next question if I do this will I still have to worry about fule leaking?
I think I can handle this one just would like to know (just in case) how to do this the right way.
I figured theres not harm in asking.
Also to any 1992 323 owners or if it fits all the same, I went to autozone and the fule filter cost me about 20 bucks so I think I would look around if your looking to get one. But I was alread there so eh.
Its also shaped diffrently, I have never seen one that looks the way this one does. But I haven't really seen that many lol.

When doing a fuel filter, make sure the key is off first. There is not much to depressurizing the system. I have replaced about a million and one fuel filters, maybe a few less than that
but when you take off one of the lines there will be a quick burst of pressure, but thats it. If you are concerned take a shop towel to shield your eyes when first disconnecting. There will be a small amount of fuel escape, but long as the key is off, the pump will not run. Then just install the new filter and you are good to go!

Lol that sucks to be replacing that many but if its your job then yeah.
Thanks though I just didn't want a huge mess, I also didn't want to get to much fule on me. I would have to run up 3 flights of stairs to get to my bathroom
.
Yeah thanks now I can get started as soon as my Mass Air flow sensor gets here *crosses fingers* hopfully tomorrow.
Good thing I live close to my work my boss is so cool he comes to my apt and give me a lift, he also lets me drive his SantaFe to make sales call for my work to try and get more business going.
