Default 1999 Mazda 626 problems

I have a 1996 Mazda 626, the car drove like a dream when we first bought it, we drove it to the beach which was about a 350-400 mile trip one way, and then about 2 weeks after we got back it started acted all kinds of messed up, you could start it up and drive and it will run great, but after 30-45 minutes it will start to idle rough and lose power and eventually die, then it will not start back up, once you wait about 45 minutes to an hour almost like you gotta let it cool off, it will start back up and do it all over again, and the kicker of the story is there's not a single check engine light or code being thrown the entire time... and the check engine light works. And I have no clue what's going on, the coil pack had a crack in it replaced it didn't help any, replaced the fuel filter because it was stopped up so bad it wouldn't let anything through it and still nothing. So if anyone out there has any idea of what this could be or how to help I'm all ears!

Test the fuel pump for flow rate & pressure.

Common problem on these older Mazda's are the cam & crank sensors playing up when they heat up from engine heat.
