Default 1999 Ford Contour auto Trans for 1996 Mazda 626. Anyone know how?
I have a 1999 Ford Contour auto transmission and I want to install it into my 1996 Mazda 626. I have heard the transmissions are the same, but others have said it is not. Does anyone know what is involved in installing this transmission into my car? Does it bolt up? If not, what modifications need to be made?
