Default 1994 camshaft

I have to replace my camshaft on my 1994 mazda 626 and am having trouble finding one. No dealerships or junkyards have them. Autozone, NAPA, Advanced say that part is no longer replaced. I then asked them for a Ford Probe (same engine) and got the same answer plz point me in the right direction.
Thanx for your time

Brandon

I have seen quite a few of these cars in my local salvage yards. The south side of San Antonio near where I live has MANY salvage yards. Most of these places will not part out a cyl head, you must buy the whole complete head. My moms friend needed an outside door handle for her 99 Toyota Camry, but you had to buy the complete left door...STUPID or what?? [sm=imsmilin.gif]

Posted up in Gen Tech before I saw your post here. Mazda parts online showed them although I did not look to see if they were in stock. I ran a locate on the part # for exhaust cam FS01-12-440B and shows 11 in the three Mazda warehouses in the US. Two dealers also show to have one in stock. Cook Mazda in Aberdeen, MD ( phone # 410-272-1500 ). Also Courtesy Mazda-Henderson in Henderson, NV ( phone # 702-567-8000 ).
