I'll answer that for you... [sm=icon_rtfm.gif]
Near the back of my manual, there's a whole list of bulbs and where they go.

No joke, Man. All that stuff is listed in the back of you owner's manual. Those that sell conversion bulbs sell them by their original bulb type. In other words, a 194 is a 194 whether it has a single tungsten filiment or 17 LEDs as the lighting source.

194b'shave a tungsten filiment and are coated in blue tint, but not LED.
The 2825 is the Euro version of the 194, yes, and they will interchange, butwill only fit the map lights which are part of the interior lighting.
The interior overhead bulb should be a "festoon" bulb about 1-1/4" long, or 31mm... kinda' looks like an old glass fuse w/pointy ends.

i replaced all of the factory red leds in my 2004 3s to blue.
my guess is that the 6 and 3 use the same interior lighting...just not sure about the quantity needed.

i ordered the led's from mouser electronics.
the part numbers for the leds that i used are:

[EDIT: the quantity of each model led needed was accounted for a mazda3s, not a 6.]

Blue - Small (model 805)
Part #: 638-172BHC-AN1P23T
There are 33 of these in the head unit. I ordered 40 to account for error.

Blue - Large (model 1206)
Part #: 638-152BHC-AN1P22T
There are 10 of these in the head unit and 21 of these in the gauge cluster. Again, I ordered 40 to account for error.

White - Large (model 1206)
Part #: 696-SML-LX1206UWW
White LEDs will be used for the six lights, three on each side of the volume control ****, which light up when adjusting the volume. I ordered 10 of these to account for error.

i used the the white leds for the scrolling lights on the stereo that illuminate when adjusting volume or powering the unit on/off. i also replaced the dull yellow led that illuminates for the empty light on the fuel guage with white.
