Ali Express parts: So far so good
For my 2019 CX 5 GT Reserve I have purchased gas hood struts and pedal covers from Ali Espress (Ali Baba., the Chinese equivalent of AMAZON)
The hood struts are a lot nicer than the low rent hood prop MAZDA provides. Since there is no "dead pedal" cover, just carpet I wanted a decent cover. But Ali Express only sells them as a set with other pedal covers. The brake pedal covers requires you remove the OEM rubber cover and attach the stainless steel cover with rubber ribs and CX-5 logo. The gas pedal cover goes over the OEM pedal. Both fit VERY tightly which is a good thing.
Though it takes forever to get the items, like 2 months, they all have been surprisingly good quality. Maybe the shipping delay is due to the pandemic.
I tried finding these items on AMAZON but no luck or on CarID.
