This is a strange question and I have no idea where to begin guessing what this fluid is. I was wondering if anyone might have any idea.
This 2018 CX5 has had zero problems to date. The only fluid I know of that is red is potentially transmission and steering, but I don't think that either would be this "high up" in the car, or have this syrup-like consistency.
I've (almost) ruled out anything non-vehicle related. I thought maybe candy melted on the dash or a mouse got caught in the wrong spot. I've had both happen, and there is a distinct bad smell (or good in the case of candy). In any case, this is my first mazda, and as mentioned my first (weird) problem with it. I was wondering if anyone might have any ideas.
Note - I have not wiped it away - and had it keep coming. This is the "original drip". Thanks...
many members are going to get a laugh from my response but I have no clue what that could possibly be that is Mazda related ???
In fact I have never seen that except non related vehicle spills generally food related?
