Hi All:

I am pretty new to the forums, but I noticed I was having issues with the fan-speed dial for my A/C. I pulled out the dash and saw that the actually connector that plugs into it is a little melted. anyone know the technical term for this specific connector/wire that is responsible for the fan speed setting?

I really appreciate it. Thanks!

Also, I checked the workshop PDF for my car and the diagram just shows it as a "connector" which doesn't help when trying to find the part to order.

Can you take a picture? You really need the part # to order the part. That small piece may not be able to be serviced separately (May have to replace larger part it is attached to.)

You might be right about the fact, I made need to replace the whole climate control cluster. But here is a pic of the cable/connector I am speaking of. I guess it looks more like a wiring harness. It is circled with an arrow pointing to it:

That looks like the heater control switch , you cant buy the white connector seperately you have to buy the compleate wiring loom.
If its the black connector then you may have to buy the compleate climate control unit switch pack .
