Sulfur Smell Mazda 6s
My car (04 Mazda 6s 43K miles) has a very strong sulfur smell, before I start driving it. just to clarify... If it's sitting overnight and I open it in the morning to go to work there is a very strong sulfur smell (like a rotten egg).
If there is a problem with the catalytic converter, would it smell even when it's not being driven?
Is there any chance that something could have happened when new tires were being installed on it? The smell appeared when I came to pick up the car from the shop.
I've had the smell for two days now. Should I try to use up the gas and get it refilled at a different station before worrying too much?
Should I bring it for a tune up?
THanks!

So in case anyone was actually wondering what the smell was...
After researching the federal emissions warranty, and new catalytic converters, and other things. I realized that I had bought top soil and had that in my trunk, I guess I never new that top soil smelled like sulfur, but I guess it does!
At least I don't need a new cat!
