Default Suggestions for getting engine started after rebuild cylinder head

I recently replaced my cylinder head on my 1991 B2200 Cab Plus after the engine over heated in September 2006.

I purchased/installed a new rebuiltcylinder headall the directions in the Chilton manual. In addition I used a Smart Blend Synthetic Blend Engine primer to improve lubrication on the first start.

The engine does appear to turn over, but never quite starts. It sort of chugs and shakes but no luck. I recorded a typical attempt to start: http://home.comcast.net/~billjau//My...o/CIMG4996.AVI. Just click on this link.

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting this engine started? I really want to get this vehicle back on the road!

Thanks,
Bill

Sounds like a combustion leak there. You may have the head gasket or intake gasket incorrectly installed.

Make sure your timing is correct. being off just a little will prevent the engine from starting.
