Default stutterring problems

I just bought a 1991 Mazda RX5. When just pulling out in first gear it stutters then takes off like shooting a rubber band. Sometimes it does this into 2nd and third gears. I tried running some injection cleaner and tried using a higher octane gasoline but neither worked.Someone said it probably was a timing issue. It never did this when I test drove it twice...starting happening afterI drove it about 1,000 miles. Any suggestions?

Default RE: stutterring problems

Check the rubber boot from the air filter box to the throtllebody. It needs a perfect seal so any cracks in it will do what you describe.
