Well today I received a remote car starter system for Christmas and I am going to install it myself. After looking over everything it doesnt seem to bad, however there is one grey area for me. This particular system calls out to install a bypass module for the Anti-theft system installed on the Mazda. However I cannot seem to verify this, I have the keyless entry and the manual says it comes standard with the engine immobilizer, but I do not want to waste the time and money to install it if I dont need it, especially since it calls out to leave a programmed transponder key inside the module.
