Default Need a savy tech for a 2.5 24 valve engine

I was told this forum would be more helpful from Ford forums so that's why I posted here first of all. I have a 96 Probe GT with the 2.5 like some Mazda's and am having 2 issues ; a PO302 code (misfire on #2) and a P1195 code which near as I can tell has something to do with the MAP/EGR boost sensor, whatever you choose to call it. The car has new wires, plugs, cap and rotor.
It will not idle properly, get's to about 600rpm after it warms up, it runs better cold, has a miss and I don't know what else to check at this point, I could list the obvious, but I'll try this approach first. A notable difference (worse) happens when I switch the vacuum supply for the FPR and EGR solenoid on this L fitting on the manifold so that sort of points to one of them possibly being bad or one of the vacuum ports is partially plugged, thought to try a new FPR for $85, already have the boost sensor on the way here, got one remanufactured for $40. Any intelligent direction would be appreciated.

Check for exhaust restriction. If the converter is toast then it will need a distributor also. A partially clogged exhaust will set a boost sensor code and play havoc with the vacuum system.
