That says it all folks!

My power locks work for the passenger side door, but it won't unlock with the key.

I need to find a "door key cylinder switch" I believe, but would like to know if other Mazda models have the same one.

thanks!
Scott

You mean that the power door locks do not work when turning the drivers side key cylinder but they operate normally with passenger side key cylinder?? Might first check to see if the switch has simply fallen off the back side of the key cylinder. Have seen this quite a few times. If it is otherwise broken then only other cars or years that I know of that use will be an 01-03 Protege.
New one is not that much though. Available from www.onlinemazdaparts.com for only $32.64. Just enter part numberr BJ0E-59-498. that is a zero and not letter "O" by the way.
