hello, i have a 1999 protege dx,and wish to replace my stock muffler with a borla muffler...here comes the stupid question: do i need an offset/center or a center/center muffler..and what size?? thank you in advance to whom could provide me the right answer.

i know what muffler type that i need ( it is the turbo serie),but when i contacted them ,they are the one who asked me if i needed a center/center or offset..since i don't really know what the stock muffler is,i don't want to order the wrong one.

 

Just take a look at the muffler you have on the car now. See where the exhaust enters and exits. If it enters in the center and exits the center, then you need a center/center muffler. If it enters on an offset and exits the center then you need a an offset/cenetr muffler. and so on....
