hi folks
new to mazda .i picked up an 06 plate mazda 6 sport 143 diesel from auction
when i got dpf light was flashing. so read up on regen of the dpf and found someone local who mobile done a regen at home took about 30 mins with car reving, after was complete the lights all went out ........ seconds later the car cut out and turned over for a long time before it fired back up. when it did it made a hell of racket like a bottom end knock...
when i leave car to go cold it starts no problem and sounds fine . do about 1 mile in the car and the temp gauge goes up the nasty knock is bacK when warm there is no power from car and misfires, but when cold pulls through the gears no problem and smooth.........

the oil level was fine as checked before regen
and changed oil after regen

would like to know if anyone has had a simaler problem as i would think bottom end would knock hot or cold ..... ?
