Hello. Can anyone help me please? I have a Mazda 5 sport (2lt petrol) and having problems with the key. A while ago I had to get a new key for It, the new key will unlock the doors but will not pick up the immobilizer so won't start. The chap who done it for me (who is very good at what he does) said that the car is registering that there was never a key registered to the car! When you turn the key in the ignition everything seems as it should, you can hear the fuel pump kick in but it won't turn over. Has anyone any clue as to what might be the problem? Thanks

 

If you lose the keys or a key when you reprogram keys you must have 2 keys or the engine wont start a fail safe almost get a secound key and get them both reprogrammed should then fire up

 

If in doubt book it in with Mazda.
