Istop not working

Default Istop not working

Hi I'm looking for advice please. I noticed recently my istop function isnt working. On my mazda connect the engine icon isnt lighting up blue? Any ideas? I'll post pic of what I can see. Thanks

If the car is still under manufacturers warranty then book it in with Mazda.

Otherwise, carry out a diagnostic code check ( P0A8D is the main i-stop related code) get the battery full recharged and professionally tested with a stop/start compatible battery tester. If it passes, clear any codes, disconnect battery for at least 5 minutes, refit the battery & carry out a i-stop relearn. If it fails testing, clear the codes, replace it with the correct battery usually Q85 stop/start battery, then carry out a i-stop relearn.
