Hose from the air filter to the throttle plate...

Good morning all:
I am new to the forum, but not new to Mazda products since I have been an owner of a '99 Millenia for the past 5 years. Can someone please tell me the name of the hose that is between the mass air flow sensor and the throttle plate? And if the hose can only be purchased (as I was told by a mechanic the other night) from a Mazda dealer? There's a hole in it and I need to repair it asap....

Is typically just called an intake air hose. Do you have the 2.5 l engine or the 2.3 l Millenia S? Is probably a dealer only part but can get you the OE part number and retail so you can do a little shopping around.

Since you mention air flow meter to throttle plate you must have the 2.5l engine. The OE part number is KL47-13-221. Retails for $53.10 from Mazda. Available at www.onlinemazdaparts.com for $42.48.
