Default help. How can I disable the auto-leveling sensor

Hi!

How can i disable the auto - leveling sensor/motor to my headlights.

----------------------------------

I have got problem with my automatic headlight adjustment on my CX-7.
Mazdas service guy said that the auto-levelin sensor is broken and needs to be changed. about $1750 to change this.

He temporary adjusted the headlight, but the sensor will go nuts again as soon I change tires or load/unload bagage from the car.

Maybe I can remove the fuse (23). Or will i get other errors aswell?

On some CX-7 modells ther is a manually button left of the steering weel, that the driver can manually adjust the headlights up/down.
Maybe its the same fuse that is used for the auto- leveling sensor.
Owners manuall do not say anything about the auto-leveling sensor.

disconnect the sensor that is on one of the control arms. That should disable AFS, the light will flash and stay on the dash but the headlights shouldn't move anymore
