Question Help! Car creaks when turning

I just bought a used 2006 Mazda6 earlier this month and now when I turn the wheel it makes noise. I looked up rack and pinion problems but other than noise the car doesn't have any steering problems. I did notice a good amount of rust when I bought it, my area is very humid and it looks like it spent its life parked at the beach. is this something serious that needs to be taken into a mechanic soon or something I should keep an eye on and not do anything about until more problems arise?

Usual culprit is the front lower arm bushes.

Default Creaking when turning

I was told by one shop that my grease boot was missing altogether. Took it somewhere else and was advised I needed new struts. That fixed the problem.
