Hi Alfred and welcome to Mazdaforum!!
I can't tell you how many Alfred's there are/were in my family. It seems only one of two predominant names in my extended family.
My father was an Alfred, as is my older brother (not a jr.) and his son (my nephew, also not a jr.) and now his son (my grand nephew) too who is the first true jr.
It seems most germans and people of german decent as I am have either a slew of Alfred's or Oscar's in the family... that and/or Fritz's.
