Heater Hose repair B3000 pickup
I am new to this forum and recently I replaced the heater hose in my pickup. It was a T manufactured connection with one end going to the heater core and the other going to the front and down into the front of the engine-I assume to the water pump. The T side went to the top of the engine. The split in the hose was right at the T connection.
The hose replacement was almost 100 bucks!
Could I have simply purchased a T connection and used radiator clamps to to make the repair, the old fashioned way. Or do these engines require the manufactured T?
